We were looking for a holiday where we could relax, enjoy nature, and discover the local culture, and Novi Travel organised the perfect trip for us. From the moment we arrived at Dubrovnik Airport, everything was very smooth and well organised. Someone was waiting for us at the airport and drove us to the border with Montenegro. We crossed the border on foot, where another driver was waiting to take us directly to our accommodation in Herceg Novi. Once we arrived, someone was there to give us the keys to our rental car. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and we never had to worry about the logistics. We were very happy with the choice of Herceg Novi as our base. We found Budva and Kotor quite busy and crowded with tourists, even at the end of August, so we were glad to stay in Herceg Novi. In fact, we decided not to visit Kotor because of the crowds. Our favourite accommodation was Wooden Corner, near Kolašin. The little wooden houses are absolutely charming, and there is a beautiful large garden overlooking the mountains. We even cooked dinner there while enjoying the sunset, which was a really special experience. The owners are also very friendly, and we highly recommend ordering the traditional breakfast if you want to enjoy an authentic local experience. It was delicious! Our accommodation in Žabljak, near Durmitor National Park, was conveniently located in the town and close to the national park. However, it was a little too small and, compared with Wooden Corner, somewhat disappointing. To be fair, Novi Travel had originally suggested another accommodation outside the town, but we had declined it because we thought staying in the centre would be more convenient. In hindsight, we probably should have followed their recommendation! The other two accommodations were really great, and overall, we had a fantastic holiday. We were very, very pleased with the organisation and support provided by Novi Travel. Everything was well thought out, the logistics were seamless, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the trip. We would definitely recommend Novi Travel!
